Dr. Sankriti Ananthamurthy earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in India before completing her Master’s degree in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry. She later pursued advanced specialty training at the University of British Columbia, where she obtained her Master of Craniofacial Sciences and Diploma in Pediatric Dentistry. During her residency at UBC and BC Children’s Hospital, she served as Chief Resident and is a certified specialist in pediatric dentistry as well as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Ananthamurthy provides comprehensive dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs. She is committed to creating a supportive and positive environment where children feel comfortable and families feel informed and involved in their child’s care.
Outside of work, Dr. Ananthamurthy enjoys long-distance running and has completed multiple marathons. She is passionate about animal welfare and volunteers as a rescue and foster caregiver for dogs. She also enjoys singing and dancing and brings warmth and enthusiasm to her practice. She is fluent in Hindi and Kannada and speaks Tamil.
